World’s first in #Krommenie: Energy generating bike path by @SolaRoadNL

Biking on solar cells. Soon this will be possible in the small village of Krommenie in the municipality of Zaanstad near Amsterdam.

The concept is developed by TNO Delft and will bebuild together with the Noordholland province, roadbuilding company Ooms and technology firm Imtech.

In the fall of 2014 a 100 meter bike path will be ready.
